A blue moon`s rising
is silencing all our talks and discussions
about what is right and wrong.
A half moon just enough light
to finda our way,
left or right, black or white
up or down,
home or to the open road.
It doesn`t a really matter.
See ya at the crossing my fränds,
lighthearted.

nichts ganz als meine Reu;
die ersten Bissen genossen,
schien alles mir einerlei.

Halb gab ich mich hin den Musen,
und sie erhörte mich halb;
hart auf der Hälfte des Lebens,
entfloh'n sie und ließen mich alt.

Und also sitz ich verdrossen,
doch läßt die Zersplitterung nach;
die leere Hälfte der Seele
verdrängt die noch volle gemach.

Franz Grillparzer

Sweet Moon, I thank thee for thy sunny beams;
I thank thee, Moon, for shining now so bright;
For, by thy gracious, golden, glittering gleams,
I trust to take of truest Thisby sight.
But stay, O spite!
But mark, poor knight,
What dreadful dole is here!
Eyes, do you see?
How can it be?
O dainty duck! O dear!
Thy mantle good,
What, stain'd with blood!
Approach, ye Furies fell!
O Fates, come, come,
Cut thread and thrum;
Quail, crush, conclude, and quell!

Nun, bis Tages Wiederkehr,
Elfen, schwärmt im Haus umher!
Kommt zum besten Brautbett hin,
Daß es Heil durch uns gewinn!
